We are pleased to share that inSitu is embarking on Phase One of Canopie, a new community located on the east and north side of Lac Fournier. Phase One of Canopie will offer six 1-acre lots with a strong emphasis on community living. When designing Canopie, we relied heavily on community feedback to ensure it aligns with the expressed priorities and inSitu’s core values.

Things that make Canopie special:

• Thoughtful Design: At Canopie, lots are set back from the shoreline and have limited access points to help protect the waterfront. Positioned higher up and away from the shore, they will offer scenic views of Lac Fournier while preserving the natural beauty of the lake.
• Shared Community Amenities: Residents of Canopie will have access to shared amenities designed to foster community spirit.
• Preservation of Trail Networks: In collaboration with Velo MSM, inSitu is committed to keeping trail networks around Canopie operating in perpetuity. Our partnership ensures that we will minimize trail redirection and integrate new trails into the community.

We plan to begin the first phase of the project this fall. Our intention is to minimize interference with biking trails during this period. However, there may be road work underway at the intersection of the Lower Ridgeback and Thunderbird trails during the work week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we hope to make the process smooth and efficient!
